So its been awhile. The last experiment went well and I managed to keep up the study for a few months, it wasn't as consistent as during the 30 days but it was pretty good. More importantly my vocabulary improved dramatically. Excellent. So why start again? Two reasons, One - I am doing my version of the 750 words a day thing.. So far 21 days with once missed and two - I need a few words of Spanish for a trip I will be taking in August so I managed to trick Maha into doing this with me :) It looks like we will probably use https://www.duolingo.com/ this time (instead of anki) as neither of us has any spanish knowledge and it seems like it might provide an ok leg up. Mass vocabulary can come later.

To get it all started ill be posting my daily Word sound and any interesting statistics I can generate from the accumulated data. So far I'm over 20,000 words! Crazy sauce. The process I currently use is as follows:

1. One and only one 25 minute pomodoro time block. No more. No less. No interruptions.
2. Choose a rule for each week; eg "1 topic per day", "Minimize spelling errors" etc
